Abstract: Against the backdrop of the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, the development and promotion of English teaching resources related to Hainan culture through AI technology has become a practical issue in contemporary educational practice. Through a review of relevant literature, this study identified representative cultural elements of Hainan and employed AI technologies to generate multi-modal teaching resources, including intelligent dialogue content and virtual reality scenario videos. These resources were subsequently applied in both classroom-based and online teaching contexts. The findings indicate that such resources not only enrich teaching approaches and diversify instructional formats, but also enhance students’ English expression and cross-cultural communicative competence, thereby supporting cultural dissemination and talent cultivation for the Hainan Free Trade Port.
